The Executive Division provides organizational leadership and executive management to BWSC, including policy formation and strategic planning. The Executive Division also represents BWSC in all legislative-lobbying efforts pertaining to securing continued federal and state funded rate relief. This Division is also responsible for safety management; implementing and monitoring the BWSC’s affirmative action plan and ensuring the participation of women and minority owned businesses in obtaining goods and service contracts with BWSC; representing BWSC in all litigation; preserving BWSC's technical infrastructure and online services; and providing its employees with proactive personnel services.

Attorneys handle all aspects of BWSC's litigation including civil lawsuits, 合同纠纷, 破产, and tax title issues. 总法律顾问 attorneys act as in-house counsel and advise the Board of Commissioners, 高管, and staff on policy, 劳动关系, and legal developments. 总法律顾问 investigates claims made against BWSC and brings them to an appropriate resolution. 人力资源 establishes and monitors personnel 政策 and procedures, manages hiring activities, updates and maintains integrity of personnel data in the Human Resource Information System, maintains staff knowledge on relevant issues, assists in research to develop collective bargaining strategies, manages employee benefits and oversees the performance appraisal process.
Information Technology
The mission of the Information Technology Department (IT) is to provide technology support to all employees in a manner that maximizes efficiency while minimizing expense.
IT manages software applications that collect data which is used to help run our business. The data collected is analyzed to ensure customer satisfaction by implementing 项目 which manage the water and sewer systems and the employees that dedicate their efforts to ensure the delivery of the highest quality services to the residents of Boston.
Organizational Diversity
Organizational Diversity reviews, implements and administers BWSC’s Affirmative Action Policy. The department ensures an environment that is equally accessible to all qualified individuals, and that all BWSC employees are treated fairly and equitably; and when necessary, assists with resolving employee disputes.
The department monitors and submits monthly statistical reports regarding BWSC’s Minority and Women Business Enterprises and forges strong community relations through representation at community meetings.
